Tree of Hope

Each year members of Community of Hope sponsor the Tree of Hope. The goal of the Tree of Hope is to bring a little Christmas joy to individuals and families who are facing financial difficulties, and who are infected and affected with HIV. The recipients of the Tree of Hope include men, women and children.

Each November, the Tree of Hope is presented in worship. The tree is decorated with “ornaments” which include the recipient’s gender, approximate age and an item from that person’s wish list.

The entire community is invited and encouraged to participate in the Tree of Hope. Donors are asked to purchase the gift and return it unwrapped to Community of Hope (with receipt in case an exchange is needed).

Following worship during one week in December, many of the gifts will be wrapped. Others will be left unwrapped for those families wishing to do their own wrapping. The donated "Gifts of Hope" are then delivered that following week.

If you would like to choose a Tree of Hope ornament, or if you have any questions, please contact our office at 918.747.6300 or tulsacohope@yahoo.com.

The Tree of Hope is funded in part by a generous grant from the George Kaiser Family Foundation.
